09 Contributions Still Accepted Supporting Woods Co. Jr. Livestock Show!

The Woods County Junior Livestock Foundation, sponsored by the Woods County Fair Board, is conducting a fund drive to support the 2009 Woods County Junior Livestock Show this spring.  With the spring show taking place February 20 & 21, the foundation is only a few weeks away from awarding premiums to 4-H and FFA members throughout the county! 

The fair board invites anyone who has not yet made his or her contribution, that there is still time before the cut-off date of February 20!  We may need an updated address for previous sponsors, so don’t hesitate to call if you have not received a donation letter.

If you would like to participate, please call the Woods County OSU Extension Center at 580-327-2786 for details or simply mail your contribution payable to the Woods County Junior Livestock Foundation at 407 Government Street, Room 11, Alva OK  73717.   

Individuals or businesses may become trophy sponsors for $100 per award.  Those who contribute at least $300 will have an advertising banner hung in the fairgrounds arena during the livestock show.  The banner will hang in the Merchant’s Building the remainder of the year as free advertising for any event held in the building.  Donations less than $100 are very welcomed and always accepted with gratitude.  These contributors will be joined together with others to be award sponsors on trophies.
